What’s on Your Shelf? (Part 1)

Whisky Collection July 2013Last week, I unexpectedly received a nice little bonus at work.  That, in combination with my birthday being this past weekend, was motivation enough for my wife and I to go out and purchase a few new bottles to add to our shelf.  Our collection may be small, but I believe in quality over quantity.  Here is what we have for the time-being:

What’s on your shelf right now?  Let me know in the comments below.

    Happy Birthday, Ryan.

I currently have to following expressions sitting on top of Susan’s china cabinet:

    Glenfiddich Solera Reserve 15
    Bushmill’s Black Bush blend
    Redbreast Single Pot Still 12
    Blanton’s Original Single Barrel
    Bowman Brothers Small Batch
    John J. Bowman Single Barrel
    Eagle Rare Single Barrel 10
    Old Forester Signature
    Wild Turkey 101
    Jack Daniel’s No. 7 Black
    Bulleit ’95’ Small Batch

I’m glad to see that you have the Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban on your shelf, rather than the Lasanta. With age comes wisdom. The Cragganmore 12 and Glenrothes Select Reserve NAS are #1 and #2 on my Speyside next-to-try list. You’ll have to write a review of the Auchentoshan Classic. I haven’t seen many positive reviews of the Lowland single malts.

    Best regards,

    Chuck
